tumblr_naexe1HbwG1r5r9r7o1_500PBS’s Emmy-nominated chef and host of Growing a Greener World, Nathan Lyon will be leading a cooking demo on October 11th at the 2014 Taste of South Lake in Pasadena. Other cooking demonstrations include Le Cordon Bleu instructor Kira, KCRW Good Food host evan Kleiman, and Luisa Fabbri, owner of Contessa who will be using ancient grain pasta imported directly from Italy.

Guests may choose to enjoy the on site beer and wine garden and partake of culinary treats provided by over 25 South Lake Avenue restaurants, such as Lemonade, Kaffeine, Real Food Daily, Trattoria Neapolis, and Which Which Superior Sandwiches.

Live music includes a bit of blues, rock, Americana, pop, “tropical surf rock,” indie pop, disco, “acid Jazz,” and funk will be performed by The Record Company, Eric Lilavois, Damien Jurado, Salt Petal, and Los Amigos Invisibles.
