A CIF Bonanza

FSHA goalie Lindsey Espe gets air and gets the ball.

It was a huge weekend for Pasadena-area teams as CIF playoffs swept Southern California. Muir’s boys’ basketball team had a superb season, and they made to CIF finals against a school just a couple of miles away: Flintridge Prep. Prep won on Saturday night, as did Flintridge Sacred Heart’s girls’ soccer team, which beat San Clemente to take the Southern Cal championship. Meanwhile, the Poly girls’ basketball team won the CIF title, as did La Cañada High’s boys’ basketball.
