Moms from nearby St. Rita’s school have taken over this cheerful, light-filled space and turned it into a unique co-op shop with giftware by local artists (including as far-flung climes as Claremont and Ojai) – scarves, towels, baby clothes, soft goods and hand-crafted wooden wands, tops and pencils. The sunny back patio is a relaxing space where people can explore their inner muses, browsing a selection of used craft books or participating in informal classes. Everything has a down-home yet sophisticated feel. “We want it to be a place where people can come and drink a cup of coffee, sit in the sun, and make things — or just hang out,” say the owners.
