Attire LA Comes to Altadena

Sep 30, 2015

Kiri-Lahey_Altadena-artist-at-AttireAttire began as a shop in Culver City with the idea to fill the shop with “a carefully curated collection” of clothing, accessories, and—interestingly enough—art. The idea is to support local brands being produced in Los Angeles and local artists in Culver City and, now with its second location, in Altadena.

One such Altadena artist is Kiri Lahey, whose handmade jewelry may be seen here (right). Attire states that Lahey is an Altadena resident and full-time student working towards a master’s degree who in her free time “enjoys crafting crystal jewelry.”

“Our goal is to create an inspiring atmosphere where customers can escape from their ordinary routine and leave with a renewed sense of personal style.” (AttireLosAngeles.com)

Attire also will host creative workshops, led by “stay–at–home moms – retirees’ – college students and those who want to get themselves acknowledged to retail consumers.”

  1. I’ve driven by this shop a couple of times and wondered about it. It looks charming. I think there’s parking behind. There’s also a women’s clothing shop on Fair Oaks called Lailah’s Loft, across from Hoopla (a couple of doors north of Pizza of Venice). I keep meaning to check that out, too. Looks like time for an Altadena shopping day.
