The best choice along East Pasadena’s motel row, this well-maintained three-story chain is a good value. The furnishings are newer and comfortable, and the continental breakfast (served in a nice kitchen) is more substantial than most, offering things like oatmeal, toaster waffles and fresh fruit. You can hear the nearby 210 freeway from the rooms, but mostly it’s an unobtrusive white noise. Extras include the world’s tiniest pool and an indoor spa and sauna.
