What font does KPCC use on its website? And why does it use that font? Simon Garfield, author of <i>Just My Type: A Book about Fonts</i>, probably knows the answer. Fonts may seem trivial but the role they play in our lives is large: from billboards to album covers to greeting cards, each font is picked carefully. Garfield is a “typophile,” who can tell you why you should NEVER use Comic Sans and why Trajan evokes memories of bad movies.
