Positively Wicked

Aug 3, 2010

The Pasadena Musical Theatre Company’s Senior Company (students in grades 7 to 12) is ready for its close up! After six week of intense rehearsals, the curtain is about to rise on Positively Wicked.  Featuring music by Stephen Schwartz from Wicked, Pippin, Pocahontas and more, the play takes place at Wickett High School, where green-haired Ellie and head cheerleader Linda meet head-on… with unexpected results. Director Ryan Scott Oliver (also executive director of PMTP) utilizes the experience and skills of many returning veterans among some 80 students in the company.

The show is good for families and kids of all ages. And if Pasadena is sweltering by then, take note that the show takes place in the air-conditioned auditorium of Pasadena High. Local youth groups (day camp, summer school, children’s theatre collective, etc.) of more than 10 can get in free to the matinee performance by contacting the number below.
