Les filles sont malades. C’est terrible!
Luckily for Miss Clavel and eleven little girls, Madeline is coming to the rescue.
Ludwig Bemelmans’ book (first published in 1956 in McCall’s magazine) is brought to life by students from Pasadena, San Marino, South Pasadena, Monrovia, and Glendale in Theatre 360‘s production of Madeline’s Christmas, opening December 6th.
Madeline’s adventure has been adapted from the page into a musical with songs like “Achoo!”, “Abracadabra”, and “Bonne Annee”.
Started in 1999 as Pasadena Junior Theatre, our goal is to give our students the skills and experience they need to stage professional-level dramatic plays and musicals.
We recently changed our name from Pasadena Junior Theatre to better reflect the kind of experience children and teens gain from our theatre company. Theatre 360 gives our students a 360-degree experience in the theatre. We are the only local company that has students onstage as well as handling the technical aspects of our productions. Our classes and performances give students a complete theatre experience. (Theatre360.org)
Past Theatre 360 productions have included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bye Bye Birdie (a satire set in 1958 and inspired by Elvis Presley and his draft notice), Footloose, Cole Porter’s Anything Goes, and The Wedding Singer.
