Friends of the Library Book Sale

Jun 9, 2015

600px-Buchblatter_001A book sale is not what we would consider a traditional “good deed,” but upon reflection Friends of the Pasadena Public Library is a “good deed” entity. Its mission is to help fund library programs, special services, and cultural events—from summer reading clubs for children, author events, movies, and a reading fair to the community-wide One City, One Story event.

On the second Saturday of every month, rain or shine, Friends of the Library holds a book sale. Prices range from 25-cents to $5 per book but most are priced at 50-cents for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks.

Get ready for summer reading on the hammock, at the beach, poolside…
