Two syllables can weigh a ton.
What does the word mean?
It means to find warmth in the moon
and coolness in the sun. It means understanding silent words.
It means going past the words that cause pain
and holding hands with one who hurt you; giving them a gentle hug.
It means enjoying the distant horizon and the gentle mist.
and treasures with the future.
To forgive means to finally let go. Set free.
It means to finally let the soul be.
The body already is.
The mind is leading the way.
To forgive means to enjoy the trickling water in a stream,
the water beetle in it.
To forgive means to find true beauty where it already exists,
in the blue skies and the monarch butterfly.
It exists in the red robin and the hummingbird.
To forgive means to find peace.
