No one tells MUSE/IQUE to sit in the corner and be quiet…
From Stephen Sondheim to Bob Dylan and Carole King, from Cole Porter to Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda—sometimes lyricists are so brilliant that their work becomes the word.
In a local temple of literacy, MUSE/IQUE brings LA’s best musicians and vocalists together to explore how these word wizards transform letters into living, breathing art. Rachael Worby leads a symphony of soaring sonnets and stanzas guaranteed to raise your spirits to the rafters.
This is a word party for the ages—and one trip to the library where we won’t be shushed!
