Santa’s a busy guy right now, and yet somehow he’s finding time to visit with children in Old Town Pasadena. On Christmas eve you’ll find him in the Old Colorado courtyard, where there’s also an impressive tree and, quite often, live music. And even though he’s not officially there this week until Christmas eve, we had friends stop by with their little boys today, and they found him holding court.
If you can’t bring the kids by during his official visiting hours, not to worry — have your child write a letter to Santa and mail it in the special box in the courtyard. Just make sure to include your return address, because volunteer elves from the Pasadena Senior Center collect the mail daily and make sure Santa sends back a personal reply to each child.
Below are his scheduled appearances; kids can sit on his lap and share their wishes for free; to take your own photo is $10, or you can have the professional do it — a five-photo CD is $20 (for a family or group of up to five). The mailbox is open round the clock.
