Peter Sagal and the regulars of "Wait Wait."
What’s the capital city of Djibouti? If you answered “Djibouti,” and aren’t just a Djiboutian ex-pat, you might want to get yourself down to the Pasadena Civic this Thursday (Friday is sold out) to be a part of the live studio audience of Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, NPR’s weekly hour-long quiz program. Hosted by actor/writer Peter Sagal, Wait Wait features a variety of games testing the contestants’ knowledge of current events. The prize for winning a game is usually to have Carl Kasell, the show’s judge and scorekeeper, record a greeting on the victor’s answering machine. If you’re a frequent NPR listener you know all this already — except for the part where they’re coming to Pasadena! So that’s cool.
