King Lear at ANW

Feb 14, 2017

Model-5This may be a little close to home given the current political climate and who holds the pinnacle political seat in our country, but on the other hand, perhaps the timing is perfect.

A Noise Within presents King Lear, opening on February 15 and running through May 6.

The gut-wrenching devastation of Lear encompasses more than one man’s trajectory of power and hubris; it is an affecting, unflinching chronicle of a family as it disintegrates around the mental illness of its patriarch.

“Who is it that can tell me who I am?”—King Lear

Directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, the play stars Geoff Elliott as King Lear, and his daughters Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia are played by Trisha Miller, Arie Thompson, and Erika Soto respectively.
