Empty Bowls Summer 2015

Jun 22, 2015

Empty_Bowls_600pxThe devoted, enthusiastic potters of Wheelhouse Ceramics are looking to break a record.

Last year, at their Empty Bowls event—where 500 bowls were sold at $10 apiece—they raised $5,000 to benefit Foothill Unity Center. This year, they want to break $6,000…one ten-dollar bowl at a time.

Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement for hunger relief through ceramics. Come buy a one of a kind, hand made bowl for only $10 ! You will also get a free ice cream sundae to thank you and to remind you that you just helped fill someone’s Empty Bowl.

One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit Foothill Unity Center.

For every bowl you purchase, you will also be given a raffle ticket for the chance to win one of 6 donated special works of ceramic art. (Wheelhouse Ceramics)
