Food As Art

Oct 13, 2014

French Macarons_aSouth Pasadena’s Arts Crawl involves art of all kinds, including the culinary variety. Michelle Hohman’s Urban Kitchen is celebrating it’s one-year anniversary on October 18th with “Food As Art.” Hohman has invited Chef Beer Vee to conduct an interactive cooking demonstration, sharing his “artful” French macarons, truffles, and other treats.

For Urban Kitchen’s cooking classes, Hohman emphasizes the “learning by doing” technique, and for that reason class sizes are small. For this year’s Arts Crawl, “Food As Art” is a free event, though space is limited. Reservations should be made as soon as possible.
