Sunday Dancing at Lineage

Jul 10, 2011

The Lineage Performing Arts Center is a self-described hub for cultural events of all sorts—music, theater, musical theater, film screenings, etc—but their first love is dance. The LPAC, after all, is operated by the Lineage Dance Company, a contemporary troupe that does lots of original programming. If you’re a modern dance fan and have missed any of their work, you’ll now several chances to catch up with “Sundays at 5,” Lineage’s new monthly concert series. The concerts will feature bits of their old shows—Healing Blue, Dancing through the Ages, The Brain in Motion, Breaking through the Canvas, Qualities—and offer a sneak peak at the next one, Art of Evolution. The first one is this Sunday at, yes, 5, though the doors open at 4 for wine and snacks.
