Vince's will always remain close to my heart. I went every Friday of Junior High. In addition to that classic turkey sandwich, the people are nice and the ice cream sandwiches are perfect. Thanks, Vince's.

I also think El Metate is sweet and I'm glad you included it here. I've been wondering about El Taquito Mexicano--thanks for the review. In fact, thanks for this whole thing. I'm bookmarking it for sure.

I think that Classic Thai's daily luncheon specials (Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock) are tops! Well, not quite $5 but pretty close. I usually get out of there with beverage, tax & tip for about $8 or so. On a beautiful day, it's great to sit on their patio but their inside seating is comfortable, too.
