Pasadena Symphony at Jones Coffee

We don’t know about you, but when we’re enjoying our coffee, say at Jones Coffee Roasters on Raymond, and our morning blah blah blah is supplanted by the sounds of a string quartet, the joy of living in Pasadena simply multiplies. (Listen here.)

Pasadena Public Library is hosting 2 Random Acts of Music performances by the Pasadena Symphony and POPS on December 10th and 16th at the Santa Catalina branch.

Random Acts of Music (RAM) is a series of short performances featuring musicians from the Pasadena Symphony.

This past November, a string quartet performed for members of the Pasadena Child Development Associates’ community. A handful of string players set up under a tent and serenaded the crowd at Old Pasadena’s new farmers’ market, a brass quintet enlivened the Westfield Santa Anita Mall, and the woman’s department of Macys received members of the Symphony’s brass section.
