Polkatots Wins L.A. Cupcake Challenge

Alma and Melany of Polkatots

Pasadena’s very own Polkatots, a new spot fairly hidden on Lake at Orange Grove, walked away with two out of three first-place prizes at the 2009 Cupcake Challenge, a sold-out event last weekend at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel. The goal was to find Southern California’s best cupcakes, and Polkatots’ amazing dulce de leche cupcakes (which I raved about on this site a couple of weeks ago) took Best Original and Best Overall at the competition.
