Page to Table

Apr 3, 2016

Two of our favorite things: books and food. More precisely, cookbooks and the products of such.

Altadena Public Library has launched a new kind of book club: “From Page to Table,” a potluck for those who love to browse or scour all sorts of cookbooks—and then race home to start cooking.

If your cookbook collection has its very own bookshelf and is bulging at the seams, it’s time to get those volumes down and start cooking up recipes for fellow foodies! Or, check out our hugely popular cookbook collection for inspiring concoctions to try out on a new audience. (Altadena Public Libraries)

This unique book club meets every other month through December 2016. We missed the first one, but the second is coming up on April 23rd—so, there is more than enough time to concoct and experiment before sharing a dish or item with fellow foodies and lovers of the cookbook at “From Food to Table.”

Page to Table dates: Saturdays, April 23, June 25, August 27, October 29, and December 3.
