Dozens of individuals and groups will play their rhythms and songs, all for free, from Cal State L.A., Fuller Seminary and Bar Celona to Beyond Hair, the Armory, the Paseo and Vroman’s Bookstore.
Vertical Wine Bistro will have Joachim Nordensson, Zona Rosa Caffe will feature Department of Walter & Power with Dean O’Leary, and at Colorado Boulevard and Raymond Avenue Cookbook of L.A. Symphony will be one of 13 groups performing throughout the day on Saturday, June 7th.
You may find someone strumming and singing on the bus or see a pack of guitarists, drummers, and a leader with a megaphone walking the sidewalk and “making music” while wearing white button-down shirts and ties—and bicycle helmets.
On Saturday, June 7th, Pasadena weather is forecast to be partly cloudy and 84 degrees Fahrenheit. So stock up on water, slather on the sunscreen, and don’t forget a hat with a sizable brim and your sunglasses; commit for the long hall. Eleven a.m. to 11 p.m. Wall to wall, street to street, stage to stage music.
And it’s all free.
