Something’s up on Green Street.
High Low Vintage has just opened with “an eye towards Mid-Century Modern, Industrial Age, and Post Modern clothes, antiques, and collectibles.” They carry movie posters from the 1930’s through the 1950’s, and also have art and furniture from the 18th & 19th centuries. Proprietor Carolyn Gray says, “Yes, we’re eclectic!”
Their collection includes pristine condition sheer blouses in aqua, green, pinks, and white. They have bed jackets (ah, memories of Grandma), slips, bright summer dresses, party dresses, beaded sweaters, and an assortment of vintage cufflinks and tie clasps.
The shop is colorful and busy, with more than enough to grab your attention and make your feet walk towards. If you’re into vintage, this new addition to Pasadena is worth a your time. And take your time—let these historical remnants of bygone eras sweep you momentarily away.
(They also have an online store for worldwide shipping!)
