A Christian graduate school with an evangelical bent, Fuller trains ministers, psychologists, therapists and philosophers. The central-Pasadena campus, which comprises lovely old homes and a few modern buildings, is the school’s headquarters, but there are many satellites, including in Colorado Springs, Seattle and Sacramento. The student body is remarkably diverse, coming from all over the world. Fuller takes scholarship seriously, and its master’s and docroal programs do a fine job of preparing marriage and family counselors, ministers and psychologists. Everything, however, is cast with an evangelical Christian hue—agnostics, atheists and non-Christians need not apply. The bookstore is a fine resource for titles on spirituality of all kinds.
