A Texas Spineless prickly pear. Karol’s friend’s parents brought the cactus from Texas to California in 1958.

Karol Franks is the creative eye of Karol Franks Photography.

She is a longtime volunteer and photographer for the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, which opens Sunday, April 19th and runs through May 17th. Tickets on sale here.
