Zines, Comics & DIY

Aug 12, 2014

Ted_Geisel_NYWTS“It’s really very fun,” the man on the phone from Vroman’s Bookstore Hastings Ranch said in regard to the upcoming Zine Workshop on August 16th. After he explained further, we imagined a drawing, cutting, gluing, folding creative (without the brawling) free-for-all.

At Vroman’s Hastings Branch, zines, comic books, or just about anything your mind imagines that can go between folded paper is yours for the making.

Paper is provided, as well as markers, pens and pencils, magazines for cutting out pictures, letters, or words, and an instructor to guide and answer any and all questions.

This is a free event, and writers and illustrators of all ages are welcome!
