Storytime Roundup

Jan 9, 2011

Can’t bear another round of Where the Wild Things Are? Take a break from your own storybooking and head for one of the remarkable number of children’s readings at Pasadena-area libraries.

Highlights from the Pasadena Public Library’s offerings include more than a dozen Preschool Storytimes across town, the Monday night Pajama Storytime at Hastings Ranch and an Armenian Storytime on Saturdays. You’ll find all the details by clicking here.

South Pasadena’s charming library hosts five storytimes a week, including ones for toddlers, preschoolers and pajama-clad little ones. Times and details can be found here.

Altadena’s beloved library is home to Pearl the poodle, who likes nothing more than to have children read to her. Click here to check for reading times with Pearl, as well as for Teddy Bear, Preschool and Toddler storytimes.

And down San Marino way, the beautiful new Crowell Library offers regular storytimes for preschoolers and toddlers, plus frequent special events, like a recent one with Sparky the Fire Dog. You’ll find the calendar here.
