snowman55It may be Southern California, but how about building an igloo? Maybe a little ice fishing? And is it possible to resist an activity called “Ice Painting: Messy Moments”?

Kidspace is hosting its 6th annual Snow Days on December 26th through 30th.

Besides snow zones where kids may make snow angels and build snow folks, Snow Days will have dry ice experiments in the Physics Forest, seedling adoption in the Gardens, and “spiral spinning trees crafts” (this is not explained further, which tempts us even more).

Kids may decorate cookies with Yummy Art supplies and InkEdibles, an airbrush system of decorating with edible inks and frosting sheets. Kids may make holiday wishes—”Wish-teria”—on Kidspace’s wisteria tree, learn about the formation of snow and how people live in freezing climates, and children 4 years of age and under may gather to hear snow-themed stories.

The Stone Hollow Amphitheater will have live performances from groups like Radio Disney, the Sierra Madre Playhouse, DJ Dance Party, Mr. Palindrome, and the L.A. Guild of Puppetry. Exact dates and times of performances may be found here.

Very merry Snow Days to All!
