Scaling the Big Trucks

Apr 23, 2017

Do you remember being a 3½ foot 5-year-old? Besides playing with your friends, your toys, or the family dog, your days were about looking up. Looking up at your parents, your teacher, the tree branch you wanted to reach, even the dang sink! Dreaming of the time you’d no longer need the step-stool to wash your hands before dinner.

But being a kid has its advantages: being small can make some things especially wondrous. Like trucks. Big trucks.

Your wee tots (and older tots) will have a blast scaling the heights of fire engines, cement trucks, trash trucks, bobcats, tractors, and so much more at Truck Adventures on April 29.

Over 100 trucks will be on hand to climb up, into and “drive.”

Take a seat in every different kind of cop car, an Army jeep, a humvee, ATVs, RVs, and even hot rods, school buses, and a bookmobile.

From the Game Warden and the US Forest Service to the DEA and SWAT. From the Oscar Meyer weenie-mobile to the Sponge Bob car.

Highlights? Tires so big, kids can sit in the wheel well for a perfect photo op. The Maxim crane. Smokey the Bear, Batman, and Storm troopers! (Nice ones who hi-five.)

Another plus? Meeting real-life heroes…

Proceeds benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.
