Santa’s Coming to Town!

Nov 29, 2015

saint-nicholas-postcardSanta’s coming to Altadena, touching down at the 2015 North Lake Pole Holiday Fest on December 5.

The Lake & Mariposa Shopping District will host Santa Claus and his elves with carolers caroling, prize drawings, and Gypsy Eats and Pizza of Venice offering street-side tables full of yummy nosh for purchase. Local stores will remain open late for holiday gift shopping.

Santa will be set and ready to go over Christmas lists and take pictures at his North Lake Pole station at 3:15 p.m.

Altadena Sheriff’s Station will have a collection site, so share holiday cheer by buying an unwrapped toy or book and donating it to a child who otherwise might not have any gifts to open on Christmas morning.

This year, for the very first time, there will be a singing contest and the winner will be awarded $100. The contest has been created by music producer, writer, and performer Julian Shah-Tayler of The Singularity, so warm up your vocal chords and come sing your “holiday” heart out.
