Kids Cooking: U.K.-Style

Traditional Full English BreakfastThe “Fry Up.” Pan roasted thick slices of tomatoes on a plate with fried eggs with bacon—as well as sausage—and toast, maybe mushrooms. That’s the breakfast we remember eating at many a British B&B. Some morning’s we were served “chips” though never hash brown or home fries (so American!) and on one or more occasions we took the plunge and partook of blood pudding, though we don’t remember ever being served beans.

“Breakfast in the U.K.” welcomes kids to get a dose of Brittania, on February 31st, at the Huntington.

“Get a taste for life in the United Kingdom through the exhibition ‘Bruce Davidson/Paul Caponigro: Two American Photographers in Britain and Ireland,’ then cook up a delicious morning meal with chef and art historian Maite Gomez Rejón.”
