Halloween-3-12Kids of all ages are invited to South Pasadena’s “Spooktacular” on Friday, October 25th where there will be free games and prizes, costume contests, crafts, food and the entertaining Mad Science putting on a Fire & Ice show.

Thrill to the tales of Edgar Allen Poe and Edward Gorey in an evening of chilling drama. Haunting works will be enacted throughout the moonlit grounds, including “The Pit and the Pendulum,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.”

All weekend, pumpkin decorating opportunities may be had at One Colorado:

Kids can unmask their creative super powers with some serious Halloween pumpkin decorating fun. Free and open to the public; boys, girls, and ghouls welcome. Pumpkins are first-come-first-served and all creations go home with their creators. (And don’t worry Mom and Dad – this is a glue and stick-on only event!) (
