Calling all prospectivel artists, scientists, explorers, and adventurers!

Registration for the Arboretum‘s Summer Nature Camp in open now. Scheduled for June and July, the classes emphasize the environment, factual details, history, and art.

Your kids will get up close and personal, examining plants and bugs, followed by painting, drawing and sculpting whatever entices their imagination.

Also, this Saturday and Sunday during their Garden Festival, First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move national effort has sparked the Arboretum to offer “Gardening & Healthy Activities for Kids and Families.” The day will be packed with hikes and hunts, allowing your little one to embrace their inner farmer by harvesting peas, getting messy making seed balls, learning how to use the sun to create photographs, and satiate their appetite with garden fresh pizzas prepared by “Sparky the Dragon.”
