Native plant gardener, horticulturist, speaker, and blogger at Weeding Wild Suburbia, Barbara Eisenstein will lead a family field trip through the Arroyo Seco-South to celebrate Arbor Day. Discover “secrets” of the native trees, plants, and wildlife in South Pasadena’s Woodland and Wildlife Park.
The park at Pasadena Avenue just before the York Boulevard Bridge has 3-acres that include “meandering trails among rarely seen native California walnut trees.”
Additionally, a City of South Pasadena water conservation analyst will be on hand to answer any questions about conservation and the City’s efficiency programs.
