This Friday, Kidspace Museum in Pasadena is presenting a day full of earth-awareness activities for children centered around water and how important it is for our future. Programs during the day will include a workshop on how to purify water, a close look at local pond water, collage-ing, seascape art and compost demonstrations. Also included will be a multimedia show entitled “Snow in LA,” which explores the water cycle by showing how water turns into snow. Kids can receive an admission discount of $1 for bringing in a plastic water bottle to recycle.
