081612_1843_screen_2Tuesday night is Free Family Night at Kidspace Museum and on July 2nd, classical Chinese acrobats will perform—definitely an experience to make the little ones’ eyes grow wide with amazement. Can someone actually bend like a pretzel?

Summer camp at Kidspace begins on Monday, July 15th with week-long names like Wacky Kitchen Science, Water Water Everywhere, JPL Outer Space, and the Chemistry of Art. Full day sessions are available, as well as 4-hour morning or afternoon periods. These camps are for children ages 6-11 years old.

Kids can:

  • contemplate and learn why cheese melts and salt makes things taste better
  • create rainbows with prisms and make glasses sing
  • design water-resourceful cities and hike to the Arroyo
  • make a “Universe in a Jar” and create “olive oil constellations”
  • grow a moss mural

An 8-hour full day runs $400 a week, though single days are $80. Half-day sessions run $250 per week. Find out detailed information here.
