A petting zoo, Sponge Bob and Dora, balloon animals, a basketball toss, a football toss, and bounce houses galore. Small trains, big trains, electric animal rides. Snow cones, Wii, karate demonstrations with audience participation, and even a diaper derby race. One kid even said, “This is better than Disneyland.”
It’s “The Parent, Baby, Toddler & Child Expo” at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday, January 11th.
And for parents, Jenni June, a certified sleep specialist will host “How to Get the Little Ones to Sleep.” Rolling Robots will share their knowledge of robot building onstage (and robot-creating birthday parties), while author Sonja Rechnitzer will talk about natural and pain-free childbirth. Cultural Au Pair will discuss the “best-kept secret in childcare.”
New mom’s may indulge in a Post Partum Recovery Basket from Leaf & Lather or take a look at the offerings at The Tender Tush. Buttercup will have strollers and carriers, and insert the favored picture of your child into a scene with Photo Perfections. Small print will have “fingerprint” silver jewelry and Bikini Mamas won’t be selling only bikinis.
