Tis the season! Saturday, October 22nd, is St. Philip’s turn for family fun.
Games, rides, a variety show and The Smokin’ Cobras are an easy draw as you enjoy these weeks of Fall. Delectable eats come from cultures all over the world, including good ol’ American and BBQ, Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican and homemade sweet treats.
Admission is free, scrip tickets are $1 and more to purchase food and play games and activities.
Fest chairman Larry Gray has arranged game booths that will include Spill the Milk, Dip Bowling, Life Buoy and Duck Pond—now those are names that must be investigated. Tile Time invites people to paint tiles that will adorn the St. Philip’s hand-washing station. Inflatables of all shapes and sizes will be available, as well as the—dun DUN!—Haunted House for those fearless enough to risk it.
How can anyone resist trying to pitch St. Philip’s faculty, staff and their parish pastor into the Dunk Tank? Remember, it’s for a good cause!
One of the great reasons for coming out to St. Philip’s is that this festival is never, ever quite exactly the same from one year to the next. They like to mix it up, keep it fresh and try new things. So, come and see—a few surprises lay in wait. (Psst! Check out the prize for the final Bingo game of the evening and the raffle prizes.)
