They’ve got pony rides, face painting, crafts to make, carnival games, noms to nosh, and pumpkins of all sizes.

Kidspace Children’s Museum is hosting the 18th Annual Pumpkin Festival October 27th and 28th.

Live music, some craft-making, giveaways at the Radio Disney tent, and a photo op at the pumpkin patch are all free.

Tickets can be bought for the bouncers, pony rides, carnival games, and food (El Portal, the Spot Gourmet, Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ, Teri & Yaki, and Paradise Fine Cookies & Ice Cream). There will also be a petting zoo, book sale, and “parents will love the great prices at the used costume sale.”

The Pumpkin Festival is put together by Circle of Friends, which is the Museum’s volunteer support group. Last year, they raised more than $120,000. The net proceeds support Kidspace, “which provides creative environments that inspire learning through self-directed, interactive experiences and play in the arts, sciences, and humanities, to enrich children.”

Kidspace is a fun, funky, groovy place (for all ages). For the Pumpkin Fest, the fun just spills over into neighboring Brookside Park.
