Savio is Master Gardener Coordinator at University of California Cooperative Extension, Los Angeles County located in Alhambra. Her area of expertise is urban agriculture and local and regional food systems. The goal of Master Gardeners is to create “environmentally responsible and sustainable horticultural practices in the home, community, and school landscapes.” (CELosAngeles.ucanr.edu/UC-Master-Gardener-Program)
