Water Wise Landscaping2Did you know that approximately two-thirds of a typical household’s water is used to irrigate the landscape? The City of South Pasadena is hosting water wise landscape workshops to help you use water more efficiently outside your home. (

The City of South Pasadena is offering free workshops to people wanting to have a water-wise lawn. The City’s website also has detailed info on the “reduce, reuse, recycle” trend, on composting and how to dispose of household hazardous waste, and how to keep your sewer and pipes fat, oil, and grease free. Click here for links.

For South Pas residents, the City is providing a rebate to remove your turf.
