Mushrooms of Love at the Wild Mushroom Fair

Feb 8, 2016

How can a fungus be so delightful? Thankfully, thousands of cooking amateurs and masters alike have embraced these fruiting bodies with spores.

On February 13, the 32nd Wild Mushroom Fair will be held at the L. A. Arboretum, featuring “Mushrooms of Love” by Gary Lincoff (author of The Audobon Society Field Guide to North American Mushrooms).

Additionally, chef and co-author of The Wild Mushroom Cookbook Alison Gardner will have a cooking demonstration with samples for attendees.

The event also offers mushroom-growing demonstrations, mushroom identification tables (important!), wild mushroom displays, mushroom-themed vendors (that is not explained in the media release), and a children’s play area.
