Last “Garden Talks” of the Fall

H-S-GLA-ROS-CS-003 smallLili Singer, who leads “Garden Talks” at the Arboretum, welcomes the Inter-City Cactus and Succulent Show co-chair Tom Glavich to the season’s last workshop.

This last class, on Thursday, October 31st, is called “Winter Growers: Bulbs & Succulents of the Mediterranean, South Africa & the Americas.”

Glavich has “propagated a wide range of plants—including succulents, bulbs, and bromelaids—for more than 30 years.” Common and unusual bulbs will be on display (and for sale) as attendees learn what thrives in our climate and what will fill the days of winter with colorful blooms.
