Some of ’em are good, some of ’em not so good.
This Thursday, August 9th, Mary McBride will explain what bulbs are suitable to plant in Southern California and what bulbs, well, not so much. Nursery owner of Mary’s Garden, McBride will instruct how to “layer” your bulbs into the landscape so you’ll have blooming bulbs winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Oh, yeah, and a plant sale follows this free event at the Huntington Friends’ Hall, so you can take all you’ve learned, make some purchases, then set out to create your own year-round garden of blooming flowers.
