Mixing It Up for the Arts

Mar 21, 2012

Wine, fruit, and a little cheese. Meeting, introducing, chatting, and laughing. Yes, this term is a throwback, but we’re talking about a good old-fashioned “mixer.”

A “Friends of the Foothill Arts Collective Mixer” will be held Thursday, March 29th at the Woman’s City Club in the Edmund Blinn House (1905) listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

FAC seeks to offer local artists opportunities to produce and exhibit their work. They also focus on helping young people discover their natural talents and develop these gifts “in an environment that is nurturing and safe.”

The mixer is open to the public and is an opportunity to learn about FAC’s programs, such as the Kids Performing Arts Club, which begins April 14th, and the 2012 Second Performing Arts Summer Camp (ages 5-15), which runs June 11th through August 6th.

There is no charge for this event, but donations to support FAC programs will be welcomed.
