_U8F8063Once again, Pasadena Museum of History is joining more than 2,000 museums across the nation to illustrate their appreciation for “those who serve” through the Blue Star Museums program—offering free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from May 26th through Labor Day, September 1st.

Upon showing an active military ID, service men and women, and their families, may visit PMH, as well the Pasadena Museum of California Art, the Gamble House, and the Norton Simon Museum. The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage is a Blue Star member, too.

Blue Star Families was founded in 2009. Our goal is to support, connect and empower military families. We regularly survey military families to keep our civilian and military leaders informed about your top issues.

Besides efforts to support friends and family during pre-deployment, deployment, and re-integration; employment programs; letter writing campaigns; and mentoring, “Books on Bases for MilKids” and MilKidz Club, BSF has partnered with the National Endowment for the Arts to create, fund, and organize the Blue Star Museums program.
