Free Women’s Self-Defense Instruction

Apr 25, 2017

Teens and women, 14 years and older, are invited to learn “a sampling of options for building skills and confidence when self-defense is necessary.”

On Saturday, April 29, the Pasadena Police Department and San Rafael Neighborhoods Association offer a free lecture and demonstration about self defense in conjunction with Rosemead’s UFC Gym and IMPACT Personal Safety.

8:30 a.m.: Registration and light breakfast.

9 a.m.: PPD begins program.

11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.: Conversation, Q&A, and information available about and for enrolling in a variety of classes offered by UFC Gym and IMPACT Personal Safety.
In 1984, the seeds for Impact Personal Safety were planted when our founder, Lisa Gaeta, took her first “Model Mugging” class. Once she fought off the mugger for the first time, she knew her life was changed forever. She trained to become an instructor and soon after began to develop the verbal skills curriculum which is now so prevalent in most IMPACT training around the globe.
