Dancing for the Seniors

Sep 27, 2010

Slip on your dancing shoes and join the Pasadena Senior Center as it celebrates its 50th anniversary benefit bash, Zest! On October 10, Huell Howser, host of KCET’s California Gold, will serve as emcee, and Christian Perry, head choreographer for Dancing with the Stars, will perform with his Rose City Ballroom Dancers. And that’s only the beginning.

The whole shindig, including cocktails, mariachi music and fine dining, is being held in honor of Maggie Jagels, a longtime leader at this Old Town institution, which serves seniors across Pasadena.

There’ll also be a live auction, featuring getaways to such places as Hawaii and the Cayman Islands. Finally, Art Décor and His Society Orchestra will play music for dancing… but not to worry, Christian Perry won’t criticize.
