On Thursday, June 6th, the Armory will be hosting and screening Ground Operations: Battlefields to Farmfields. This operation is working to “champion a growing network of combat veterans who are transitioning to restorative and challenging new careers in organic farming, ranching, and artisan food products. Their goal is to “raise awareness and resources to help them get started with healthy new lives for themselves and food security for communities across America.”

The evening will include:

  • Delicious, locally-sourced organic food from Little Flower Cafe
  • Craft beer, organic & biodynamic wine tastings with Everson Royce
  • Speaker Edgar Hercilla, Army veteran
  • Screening of Ground Operations: Battlefields to Farmfields by Dulanie Ellis and Raymond Singer
