It’s time for Saturday High again. On September 29th, classes for high school students at Art Center College of Design begin, offering “dozens of classes to exercise that big, beautiful brain of yours.”
Classes are offered in various disciplines: advertising and graphic design; digital media; entertainment design; fine art and illustration; photography and imaging/film; and product, transport, and environmental design.
For example, What If? is a product design class where students are encouraged to work on the fly—each week they are presented with a “situation” for which they must come up with a creative, even experimental ideas by way of mockups and sketches to reach their final product.
So, ask your high schooler, “Are you ready to put your noggin to the test?”
Register now at artcenter.edu/sat. Classes run through December 8th.
